Hello FNESU community members,
This message is another request for help. As we look forward to the 2024/2025 school year, we still have new staff members who are in need of housing in our area. If you have housing available, we ask that you reach out and let us know so that we can connect our new hires to potential housing options in the area. Please contact our Human Resources Director, Jamie McAllister at jamie.mcallister@fnesu.org or call her at 802-848-7661 ext. 1

Exciting things in the works for Richford!
Please take a look at two very exciting projects that the Town is working on. Last year we were awarded two planning grants (one to the REC committee and the other to the Town).
The first project is to design a walking trail network that promotes outdoor recreation for the entire community here in town. The idea is to connect areas of town were access is limited without driving. Another aspect of this project is to help promote Richford as a recreation destination , and in order to do that we need to have the infrastructure to promote. This project could be a great way to lay a foundation.
The second grant awarded to the town is for a sidewalk scoping study. Connecting the elementary was priority in this previous walking trails grant. Through that process we found a sidewalk grant that could help us with one of the direct routes from the top of Main Street to RES.
